Basic Information
Entry Point
After he found himself deserted on a planet he had been exploring with Jax and the Doctor, he drowned his sorrows in a bar, thinking the Doctor had left him. Passing out the next morning he found himself back at home in London with a communicator by his head.
History
He spent his early years in Scotland with his mother and father. When he was about 7 years old his mother passed away and his father got a job as a real estate agent over in London. So not long after his mother died, Ashland and his father were sprinting off to the England, leaving their old life behind them. It didn’t take long for Ashland to settle in, and London soon became his home. When he turned 18, you wouldn’t have ever been able to guess he had been born in Scotland. He looked British, sounded British, and overall acted British. Though every now and again his Scottish accent peaks through on certain words.
His life went much like everyone else’s. He finished school, went to college and got a degree in business, and went on to get a well paying job. When he was about 26 years old, he found himself simply larking about London on one of his days off. Hearing some commotion in a nearby alleyway, he headed over to make sure no one was in trouble. What he found was something he couldn’t quite explain.
There was an attractive woman leaning against a large, vintage looking police telephone box like they had pictures of in history books. Curiosity got the best of him and he hid, waiting for her to head inside the odd box before he quickly caught the door. Keeping it open, he had peeked inside to find the strange woman was no where to be seen. Though the odd woman was the least of his worries as he realized the inside of the police box was much larger than the outside. Amazed by this, he had stepped in and began poking around, amazed by it all.
The woman, who he later found to be named the Doctor (the 12th regeneration, no less!) found him poking around. After playfully interrogating him, which he had taken seriously and thought she was going to hurt him, she made him an offer he couldn’t refuse, to come travel through time and space with her.
