- Fell out of his timeline and into the 12-7 about the same time he and Adric left E-Space (around the Keeper of Traken)
- travels with Sarah Jane Smith (Older) and Harry Sullivan
- Is acquainted with Laura Madley and Sara Jane Smith (Younger)
- somewhat manic, especially around Sarah Jane
- still obsessed with Jelly Babies
- actually enjoys being useful, even if he enjoys 'tea' every now and again as well
- is part of a 'commune' consisting of Harry, Sarah Jane, and apparently Sarah Jane's friends/companions
- still plays the fool, mainly to hide the fact that he doesn't know what's going on half the time
