She's been a female for a while and is pretty okay with it and has worked it out. Well after she's had Ash and Jax on her TARDIS.

She regenerated after being thought of as a goddess by some aliens on another planet. They went to sacrifice her to a volcano and somehow the planet blew up.
Became a woman after her eleventh self committed suicide

Her companions are Ashland Mockton and Jax MacBrennan
She loves Ashland and Jax quite a bit.
When Ashland finally told Twelve that he was in love with her, she admitted her feelings
She's been sleeping with Ashland
She really really loves to squish and give hugs.
Worries about Eleven
Left Earth when the world was threatened to be destroyed, however only was able to bring Ash with her. Jax decided to stay behind.
