Shannon Elizabeth (nee Parker) Weiss Jackson is an Original Character in the Stargate universe (both SG-1 and Atlantis). She has been in development since March of 2004. Character belongs to her writer and is given a little bit of artistic help from Jennifer Garner.
The Background
Having been sent to Stargate Command under dubious circumstances, Agent Weiss discovered the deception and, acting on orders from the President (with whom she has a close, familial tie), arranged to have the traitor (her supervisor and father figure) brought to justice.
Agent Weiss then spent 18 months as the SGC's resident off-world weapons negotiator as a high ranking officer on the SG-CS team.
Shannon spent four months in the forced company of Ba'al, during which he used the tried and true ribbon devices and firesticks to inflict damage on her. Very 'maim, kill, revive, lather, rinse, repeat'.
