The Story
Psyche was born mortal and a beautiful one at that. She managed to spark the ire of Aphrodite, who then sent her son, Eros, to punish her for it. Eros instead fell in love with her and under the guise of darkness made her his. Psyche fell in love with Eros without even seeing his face.
Though she was happy, Psyche couldn't resist the urge to see what she loved and in doing so, lost the love of her life. However, after facing several dangerous trials meted out to her by Aphrodite, Eros forgave her. They are now married, and Psyche is the Goddess of the Soul.
Current Issues
After living almost two thousand years with only sporadic visits from her husband and only invisible servants to keep her company, Psyche ventured out into the modern world.
She is currently living in a penthouse apartment on Fifth Avenue in New York, which she found with the help of her friend, Rogue; she also has a palace in Greece that she shared with her husband until she moved out.
Her Abilities
Psyche is the Goddess of the Soul. Her main purpose is to guide a living soul through its certain journey. She can read a person's past to gauge the path or just be a guiding force.
If called for help, she will hear and come to the aid of anyone who needs her. All they have to do is ask. She would never invade the memories of a person without first asking said person, although it has been known to happen unintentionally.
She turns into a butterfly when she feels the need to escape or just for fun.
Her Loves
She will never stop loving Eros, her first love. He is her husband and although they are currently separated she would go back to him in a heartbeat. That is should he ever decide to play it her way.
Although living in New York, she also has a palace in Greece that she shared with her husband until she moved out. While living in Greece, she made her fun where she could with painting, reading and gardening.
Her second love is chocolate and she has a magical chocolate refrigerator that she would defend to the death.
Atlas
Currently, she is involved with Atlas, a titan. He swept her off her feet, feeding her need for companionship and attention. They had one date, which ended with a kiss. They had a second date, which ended the next morning.
