Ficlette length is suggested 150-300 words, but shorter responses are acceptable, so long as they address the topic and have literary intent.

The mods do not interfere in any way in any RP issues, except for the one that is discussed below. Roleplay is not to be done on the posts in the community. Responses to challenges should be done on the muse's journal. Only responses regarding the writing should be done here.

| - | 3. Each writer is allowed to have as many muses as they wish. Each character may only be represented in ROTM once, no matter what the format. For example, there may only be one Wolverine, whether from the movie or comics. The exception is if a muse is in a multi-muse journal, then it may be represented in that journal and in a separate one. If you surrender a muse, you will be given three days to mull it over and change your mind, then you must wait at least thirty days before you may request it again. OC muses may be aligned with a fandom or independant, as you wish. In fact, let the mods make it clear that we welcome OC muses, from any fandom or original concept.

All spoilers must be behind a cut and clearly noted. This is an adult community, and all writers must be over the age of 18, and certify that they are an adult in the application. Entries in both the main community and fen communities are not restricted for content, except as to their violation of rules or TOS at Livejournal. Please be sure to put the name of the muse, fandom and topic question in your post. All responses over 200 words MUST be behind an LJ-cut.

Flaming, stalking, harassing, abusing and "outing" other members of this community, whether here or in the pup journals, will not be tolerated. Do not identify who the mun is to muses, or use the names of muns unless you have their expressed permission. Members who create unnecessary angst and drama, or who abuse other members, will be warned, then they will be banned. No one expects that everyone will like everyone, but it is expected that all members of this community treat each other with courtesy and respect. Anything less is unacceptable.
