Anything manufactured on Earth is generally referred to as Earth Tech. These items generally perform better than their local equivalents, when local equivalents even exist. Earth Tech generally commands a much higher price at market, up to double that of a local equivalent.

Earth Tech is sometimes called "Taiwan Tech" due to the extraordinary number of items stamped "Made in Taiwan" Some unscrupulous local craftsmen have taken to stamping their own goods with a similar mark, and selling these counterfeits off as legitimate Earth Tech.
