Pills carry a huge dose of a wide variety of disease fighting drugs. Enough Pills can stop any infection dead in it's tracks.

Pills contain a mix of extremely effective microbial predators. Many of these are predatory bacteria that not only attack and destroy most forms of infectious bacteria, but also secrete a powerful cocktail of anti-viral chemicals. While the human immune system recognizes these as a threat, the bacteria have been engineered to endure and even thrive while under attack from the human immune system. Unfortunately, this causes rather uncomfortable side effects, most people on Pills report a continuous high fever while taking the medication. Eventually, the added bacteria die out on their own, leaving the patient completely cured.

Two doses of Pills daily, for three days, is usually enough to stop any disease. The Pill fever lasts while the patient is taking the pills, but drops off soon after. Generally, when the fever breaks, the patient is able to be up and about the next day, as Pills selectively attack infectious bacteria, ignoring helpful normal body flora.
