The bogie flat, originally coach 287, of 1987, was rebuilt at Ravenglass in 2004 as an extra wagon to carry longer loads for permanent way trains and other duties, such as moving firewood. The original coach 287 was replaced by the current 287 in 2002. The wagon is currently in use by the p-way department.
