New Gwenson is a city in Bangladesh on the bottom of the ocean off Tuvalu that is hated and discriminated by all throughout RationalWiki, except for a few freedom fighters, many of whom are blocked.

It is famous for the production of goats' cheese sausages which are also its major export. Unfortunately it is presently plagued with vicious man-eating Long-eared jerboas which are also decimating the goat population and causing a run on the currency - the Gwenson.

As the Jerboas live on low-lying plains barely about sea-level, the government has decided to burn vast amounts of fossil fuels an an effort to raise global temperatures, melt Antarctica, raise global sea-levels and flood out the little pests. There has been some debate about whether this is an ethical procedure.
