Edit warring is probably one of the things which most irritates the RationalWikans.
Actually, it quite annoys people at RationalWikiWiki as well. Articles subject to edit warring will be protected for one day. Then two days. Then four days. Then eight days. After that we will need to take off our shoes, but we are sure that we can work it out.
Edit warring happens anywhere more than one person works on a wiki, unless there are procedures to stop it, such as Wikipedia's "three revert rule".
