Bio
Nell was born in Juno (in the Ragnarok Online world) and was left in the care of the aloof Sages, who wanted to use his Angelic power to make him into the ultimate soldier. Understandably, the young boy did not exactly like this idea, and eventually escaped to the south. He met a huntress named June and introduced himself to her as Arthuras Ti'Nell. June and her romantic interest, the knight Duriken, adopted the boy as their own child. Arthuras idolized Duriken and sought to become a knight, just like him. He achieved that goal at only eleven years old.
His Angelic heritage wasn't discovered under the best of circumstances, and he was eventually forced into a showdown with his father - who had ended up becoming a fallen angel. Arthuras attempted to win Kharivas back to goodness and sanity, but to no avail. With no option left, he harnessed his holy power and struck his father down.
Despite this tragedy, Arthuras grew up to become a happy and successful man. He became a wandering crusader, saving many worlds from evil and wooing many ladies in the process. Many ladies.
Eventually he decided he should become more powerful by learning magic. For countless years he sought someone who would teach him, until finally he stumbled upon Vexx, who took him as an apprentice for a century or so, until Arthuras discovered his teacher's evil nature. Needless to say, the end result was not pretty.
In the ensuing battle, Vexx was very nearly defeated, but ultimately he won and killed Arthuras. From that day forward, the rest of the Ti'Nell clan was marked as his mortal enemy.
Personality
Arthuras was everyone's hero. He showed tremendous potential even at a young age, and by the time he and Vexx had their epic battle, he was one of the most powerful beings in existence. Of course, no one is remembered by power alone... but Arthuras has plenty of descendants to carry on his name, and plenty of folktales and legends to honor it. It's even entirely possible that England's King Arthur was none other than this guy...
History
Originally "Sir Nell", the famous founder of the Ti'Nell clan and many-times-removed ancestor of Jakon Ti'Nell - he was already well-established as a legendary hero long before his actual backstory was fleshed out on Ragnarok Online. His tutelage under Vexx and their final confrontation was decided upon later on.
Appearances
He is present in spirit, if not in body, thanks to Jakon and the rest of his descendants. He was also supposed to be a hidden, unlockable character for Secret of Kelmar, wherein he would get one last posthumous showdown with Vexx... and win this time.
