Story
In a world where humans and Otherkin have evolved together, racial tension has always been a problem. Twenty years of shaky peace have healed the wounds inflicted by a long and bloody war, but the scars left by that conflict still remain. The Gryphon Kingdom seeks to unite the Otherkin and destroy humanity, while mankind's leader, Eric Santonius, does everything he can to stop them.
Meanwhile Kharivas, a Gryphon Kingdom expatriate, has spent much of his life trying to prevent a reignited human/Otherkin war. But his idealism about this goal has long since faded - he once thought he'd be able to save the world, but now he feels he'd be lucky just to "postpone the inevitable".
When Kharivas and Santonius cross paths, they don't trust each other - but soon, the situation spirals out of control, and the two must work together to achieve their common goal.
History
Blood and Fire began simply as Kharivas' backstory. Over time, it has evolved into a world all its own, although the details are still being fleshed out. (The world doesn't even have a name yet XD)
