Bio
Akira is one of the Draconia, the most common variety of dragons in Blood And Fire. She is a member of the Sato clan, the caste of priests and healers. At age 16, she went on a pilgrimage and met Arianna, with whom she became lovers.
However, Akira and Arianna eventually parted ways. Akira went on to get married to a member of the mercantile Kimura clan. He, under the influence of his peers, treated her poorly, which eventually escalated to physical abuse... at which point she ran away.
She came to Kharivas' hut, and though Rivas himself wasn't there, Boolean was. They began a romance, and with his help, she was able to break away from her husband.
But the Kimura clan is infamous for their bureaucracy - they demanded that Akira pay off her debts to them. In the process of doing so, she lost hope and died. Kharivas and Boolean arrived in her homeland soon afterward to discover this. Kharivas, however, provided the first truly outstanding example of his Phoenix heritage by resurrecting her.
She and Boolean have, by most accounts, lived happily ever after.
Personality
Though Akira is a member of the priestly caste, she's not incredibly religious. She fancies herself more of a healer-type, and her aspirations include someday going to medical school. She's a very nurturing and motherly type, but also quite strong and independent.
She also happens to be a vegetarian - and is known to have the occasional ideological conflict with the predatory Kharivas.
History
A fairly new character created for romantic RPing. Was originally named Zira, in yet another example of Recurring Names.
