Bio
Eric was born to an unknown lower-class family, who mysteriously died when he was still little more than a baby. He was adopted by an individual who raised him to become one of the world's most famous child prodigies. By the age of ten, he had already become an Inquisitor, a prosecutor in the royal court. Many found themselves wondering just what the future had in store for the boy, but no Inquisitor had ever become king before ... thus no one expected the true outcome.
It was his own adoptor/mentor who led the masterful conspiracy that culminated in the overthrowing of the old king and the crowning of Santonius. He was only thirteen years old upon officially receiving the title King of Men.
Personality
He is a Machiavellian ruler, widely hailed as brilliant and wise. His capacity for honor and respect is matched only by his capacity for guile and deception. For him, the ends justify the means, as he has no qualms with using people or speaking in lies and half-truths as long as it helps him accomplish his goals of upholding peace and strengthening the economy.
This wise and prosperous rule means that the shady origins of his rise to power have been all but forgotten, and the Kingdom of Man has happily flourished under his banner. One could even argue that he singlehandedly saved the world. He has united nearly 95% of the human race under the allegiance of his Kingdom, co-authored the Truce with the Council of Otherkin, and was the central figure behind the planning and building of Harmonia.
History
Santonius is a relatively new character, and was pretty much a self-cameo of Raptor at first, but eventually became an independent character, not to mention one of the most important ones in Blood And Fire.
