| - | Akira is one of the [[Draconia]], the most common variety of dragons in [[Blood And Fire]]. She is a member of the Sato clan, the caste of priests and healers. At age 16, she went on a pilgrimage and met [[Arianna]], with whom she became lovers.<br>

| - | However, Akira and Arianna eventually parted ways. Akira went on to get married to a member of the mercantile Kimura clan. He, under the influence of his peers, treated her poorly, which eventually escalated to physical abuse... at which point she ran away.<br>
