About KANNON

The future of Chicago better known as BIG KANNON was born in the southside wild 100's area of the windy city. KANNON'S eMCee presence and lyrical approach derives from his own and his family's personal experiences, ultimately making him a rapper's rapper and all around fan favorite. As far as his style goes, KANNON epitomizes the true meaning of "Mood Music". KANNON'S musical topics range from songs about the love of his family to the pain and struggle of his childhood. Songs like "Stroke U Down" and "Got The Game" are direct indications of KANNONS versatility. So any mood you're in, he has the musical ability to adapt to it. KANNON has now created a buzz in the street from various Mixtapes, Battling, YouTube videos and performing city wide. His first Mixtape "THE WAKE UP VOL.1" features a song entitled "This Ain't Workin Out", a collab track with 1ST&15TH artist Gemstones. He has also opened up for the likes of Twista, Common, Do Or Die and Johnny P. But his biggest claim to fame was sharing the same stage with Oscar award winner Jennifer Hudson. He's also done an intro for Infamous WGCI's radio personality Sam Sylk. From all that KANNON has achieved in the past, he is very optomistic about his future in music.
