Biography

Although registering in December of 2005, Beyond didn’t become active until November of 2006 when he entered a heavyweight Text tournament ran by the then heavyweight champion, Phonix. Touted as a Holla-Front head under an alias, Beyond faced former RFBL champion, Malone, in the first round. After winning the battle by knockout, Beyond advanced to the second round where he would face Plot. Plot proved to be a more difficult opponent and Beyond would suffer his first defeat, losing a narrow 5-4 split decision. After the devasting loss, Beyond shrugged off the stench of failure and signed up for week 36 of the RFBL as a heavyweight. For Beyond’s first RFBL match, he was set to face Veracious, but unfortunately, even after posting up a verse, Veracious failed to show. After that, Beyond faced Fluent in a heavyweight contender battle. Beyond ended up winning by knockout, but would sign out of the league immediately after. Outside of the RFBL, in the Bar Brawlin’ section, Beyond would face Con. Proving his nickname true, Con gave Beyond his second RF loss, this time by knockout. Deeply distraught over the most devestating defeat of his RF career, Beyond would face Con and Criticize in a three-way battle with the RFBL heavyweight title on the line. With vengeance in grasp, Beyond would defeat Con and Criticize by knockout, becoming the RFBL heavyweight champion in the process. After gaining the belt, for his first title defense, Beyond would face the number one contender in Noggah. In a razor close battle with votes going back-and-forth, Beyond would escape by 3-2 split decision to retain his belt. For Beyond’s second title defense, he wouldn’t be so lucky, as he was set to face the then lightweight champion in PhorShadow. Although PhorShadow was coming up from a lower weight class, he managed to edge out Beyond by 5-3 decision in order to be dethrone him and become the new heavyweight champion. Shortly after the embarrassing defeat, Beyond signed out of the RFBL. After some time passed, Beyond reemerged on RF to battle Yur Worst Enemy in a site battle between It’s Hip Hop and Rap Worlds. Beyond would be victorious, winning by technical knockout. Shortly after, Beyond would try his hand at the Open Mic section and drop his first verse titled, “Prophetic Apocalypse.” Even though this was only his first verse dropped on RF ever, it would go on to receive good reviews and even become Open Mic Of The Week runner-up. Following his success in the site battle and in the Open Mic section, Beyond would enter the International Text Tournament 1. In the first round, Beyond would face an audio head in Malil. Malil would prove to be easy prey and Beyond would emerge the victor by knockout, advancing to round two in the process. Heading back to the Open Mic section, Beyond dropped a verse titled, “The Departed.” It too received good reviews like it’s predecessor. Back in the Bar Brawlin’ section, Beyond would be set to face fellow It’s Hip Hopian, Kyza Soza. Unfortunately, Beyond ended up dropping a no show verse which was enough to advance to round three. In round three, Beyond would be set to face Ruck. Unfortunately, this time after posting a real verse, Ruck wasn’t able to show. In the last and final round, Beyond went up against none other than Plot for the RF heavyweight title. In a close and epic battle of the year nominee, Plot would again emerge the victor by 5-4 split decision, taking the heavyweight crown with him. His most recent defeat this time lighting a fire inside of him, Beyond signed back into the RFBL. A man on a mission, after a few weeks, Beyond had the RFBL HW belt around his waist again. A couple of weeks later, his first and only successful attempt was against an old rival in Noggah. Noggah proved to be slightly less of a threat this time around and Beyond edged out the win by 4-2 decision to retain his belt. After a unification match between Beyond, the punches champion, and Half Wit It, the topical champion, Beyond became the new unified RFBL champion. Beyond’s first successful defense of the new unified RFBL title was an Open Mic battle against Warrent4Arrest. Beyond won by knockout to retain his belt. Heading back to the Open Mic section, Beyond dropped his RFBL verse titling it “Death Warrent” where it received meager, but sufficient reviews. Back in the RFBL, for Beyond’s next title defense, he faced former topical champion, Pembroke, in a topical battle. In this controversial match, Beyond would come out the victor by knockout to retain his belt. With new found topical confidence, for Beyond’s next opponent, he would face former topical champion, DAM, in a punches battle. Beyond would win by knockout to retain his belt, this time with no controversy surrounding. Still high off the win, Beyond would defend his belt against Ruck in an Open Mic battle. Beyond, forever elevating, dropped his best verse yet and ended up retaining his belt by knockout. Feeling very satisfied with his verse, Beyond dropped it in the Open Mic section titled as “The Conqueror” where it continued to receive praise. Continuing the vicious cycle, Beyond defended his title against Pembroke again in another topical match. This time, there was no controversy as Beyond emerged the victor by knockout to retain his belt yet again. Ecstatic over his recent victory, Beyond dropped his verse in the Open Mic section titled “Judgement Day” where it received very meager feedback. Returning to the RFBL, Beyond defended his belt against Ruck again in an Open Mic battle. This match turned out to be no different from the other and Beyond arose as the victor yet again. Shortly after, Beyond dropped his verse in the Open Mic section titled “Nuclear Winter” where it received a good amount of feedback. For Beyond’s next title defense, he faced HellRazor in a punches battle. Beyond won by knockout to retain his belt. Following the success, Beyond defended his belt against fellow Group Therapy crewmate, Schematic, in an open mic battle. Emerging the victor by knockout, Beyond dropped his verse in the Open Mic section titled “Water World” where it received more feedback. By this time, Beyond’s confidence was at an all time high as he entered the Art Of Mastery topical tournament. For the first round, Beyond was set to face topical veteran, Arcanum. Although Arcanum was highly regarded in the topical field, Beyond ended up winning by knockout in order to advance to round two. Coming off of the victory, Beyond defended his title against long-time rival, Noggah, in a topical battle this time. Despite being the underdog, Beyond ended up edging it by 4-2 decision. Following the success, Beyond teamed up with Malphunxion to take on Plot and Fluent for the tag team titles. In a close and controversial match-up, Beyond and Malphunxion edged out a 5-4 split decision win to attain the belts. Back in the RFBL, Beyond defended his belt against Criticize in a punches battle. Although Crit had been confident before the match, Beyond walked away with the knockout, retaining his title in the process. Coming off the win, Beyond faced Jay-Rede in the Art Of Mastery tournament where he won by knockout to advance to the finals. Back in the RFBL, Beyond defended his belt against former topical champion and Rookie Of The Year, 7th Crescent, in an open mic battle. Even with 7th’s recent success, Beyond won the battle by knockout. Coming off a good win against a talented writer, in the Art Of Mastery finals, Beyond faced former topical champion, Half Wit It. In a razor close battle, Beyond ended up losing by 3-2 split decision, marking the end of a 15-0 winning streak that started back over six months prior. To hopefully redeem himself, Beyond defended his RFBL title against Pembroke in yet another topical match. Unfortunately, the same result occured. In the battle votes went back-and-forth, eventually leading to Pembroke winning a razor close, 3-2 split decision. With two losses in a row, the first time ever on RF, Beyond signed out of the RFBL with a record of 15-1 to go down in history as one of the most successful and dominant champions RF has ever seen. A couple weeks later, Beyond was given the RF Heavyweight title by Plot and has since signed back into the RFBL at an attempt to be the first to hold the RF Heavyweight belt, the Unified RFBL belt, and one half of the RF tag team belts all at the same time. In Beyond’s first match back, he was put up against the man who ended his 15-0 win streak in now Art Of Mastery tournament champion, Half Wit It. In the rematch of the century, this time Beyond emerged as the victor by 2-1, split decision, after Half conceded defeat. After avenging his loss, Beyond was then set to face Schematic in an open mic battle rematch for the RFBL unified title. Beyond ended up winning by KO to become the only 2-time RFBL unified champion, thus concluding his quest to hold the RF Heavyweight belt, the RFBL Unified belt, and one half of the RF tag team belts. Shortly after, Beyond entered the Bragging Rights tournament and battled Ac.Kro.Nym in the first round. The battle, which happened to be a topical, ended in Beyond winning by KO.
