Appearance
Gods range greatly in appearance. They are generally beautiful, but there are exceptions.
Biological Characteristics and Abilities
Dieties have no real DNA. In fact, their body on the material plane is not their real body, but only the body that they inhabit when they visit the material plane.
Dieties may cast one Wish spell per day and may use each power word (Die, Weaken, et cetera) once per day. They also have incredible magical/physical abilities.
Even if their bodies are destroyed, they cannot be destroyed from the material plane. They are 100 times more resilient on their plane of origin, making the death of a diety almost inconcievable.
It is extremely rare, but possible for one to become a diety if the existing dieties judge that it should be so.

This varies greatly.

Dieties as Adventurers
Gods are usually simply too busy to concern themselves with adventuring. However, when the need arises, gods make the best adventurers of all and can manage almost any adventuring task effortlessly.
