Basic Information

Full Name: Joat Legend Delia

Gender: Male

Species: Bipedal fox

Alignment: Chaotic Good

Universe of Origin: The Kingdom of Loathing

Place of Origin: The Right Side of the Tracks

Place of Residence: None

Socioeconomic Status: Low-Class Lawman (Admin, if you wish to be specific)

Reputations: Joat is known as a rather random entity, one that happens to be obsessed with fantasy.

Physical Information

Height: 2'2"

Weight: 52lbs.

Current Age: 15 (interestingly, this does not reflect the age of the creator of this character upon whom it is based)

Birth Date: 7/27 (Leo)

Physical Appearance: [1]

Body Structure: He probably wouldn't admit it, but he's not exactly the leanest one around. However, this doesn't make him any less ferocious of a fighter.

Attire: None

Gear and Accessories: Baton, Banhammer, a laptop, Karma Bombs, and occasionally a cookie or a few.

Vehicles: Draco can teleport. Sylver can chronoshift. With friends like that, who needs a vehicle?

Mental Information

Intelligence: Joat has a great capacity for mathematics. His knowledge of science is also quite good, especially computer science. He tends to learn best through observation.

Personality: Joat is quite random. He generally tends to do things as per his whims. However, when the situation calls for it, he can become quite epic. On the other hand, he occasionally decides to use the Wiggin (from Bo-Bo-Bo) style of fighting, which involves him acting even more ridiculous than usual in an attempt to confuse the enemy into submission. At any rate, Joat tends to be friendly and easily forgiving. He also has a very strong will.

Hobbies and Interests: Computers, fantasy, and comedy. Oh, and he also has an (un)healthy (subject to opinion) obsession with transformation.

Likes: Root beer, skittles, and the Shadow Wolf form.

Dislikes: Draco raining on his parade, politics, and spammers. Spammers are EEEVIIILLL!

Combat Ability

Physical Advantages: Joat has fair agility in battle (due to his tail), but relies more heavily on his great strength, which allows him to wield a certain hammer that is larger than he is. His height also serves to allow him to evade attacks much easier. Also, he can spin his baton in such a way that he can actually fly. This makes him best suited for an open space with no ceiling or other obstruction to flight.

Mental Advantages (in combat): Joat generally tends to think on his feet. When physical attacks don't work, he tries transformation and/or confusion. He also has a tremendous willpower and is hard to scare.

Technically, he is capable of pastamancery, but he never really uses this except in KoL-based situations.

Physical Disadvantages: Joat is short, which can have a few disadvantages. Other than that, there's nothing significantly hindering.

Mental Disadvantages (in combat): None

Weaponry: Baton, Banhammer, and Karma Bombs

Abilities:
Alley-Oop! - Joat uses his baton to pole-vault him up.

History

Family: Memi Delia (seal clubber, died of a mysterious disease), Conner Delia (disco bandit, exiled from KoL for trying to steal from the Council of Loathing to support the cost of Joat's education).

Friends: Just about every good guy in the RP is his friend, except Charlie Chockolite and WolvenXII, who he just met.

Enemies: None.

Rivals: None.

Background Story: Joat was born fifteen years ago into an adventuring family. His mother, a seal clubber, taught him how to smith weapons, while his father, a disco bandit, taught him the moxious maneuver. It seemed that he was destined to become sort of a seal clubber/disco bandit mix, until he accidentally flooded the house with the power of his mind. Instead of punishing him, they sent him to The League of Chef-Magi to learn to become a Pastamancer. Being the intelligent sort, he learned the ways of the Chef-Magi at a rate that seemed to astonish the Chief Chef himself, considering that he was only ten at the time. It was clear to everyone that he was born to become a Pastamancer.

But the training was expensive, and getting more so by the week. His mother had to sell most of her prized possessions, while his father had to search the sleazy back-alley high and low for some saps to steal from. At the age of thirteen, his training finally became too expensive and his father was forced to try to rob the council of loathing. He was caught in the act. Joat heard word that immediately after this, he fled the Kingdom of Loathing, never to return.

After hearing this news, the Chief Chef refused to train him, not wishing his mother to also be forced to leave. The chief chef was definitely the caring sort, and Joat himself agreed with his logic. He had to move back in with his mother, who was currently living with her mother.

Two days after his fourteenth birthday, his mother died of a mysterious illness. His grandmother, who was also dying, gave him 15 meat to invest in a career in adventuring. Since he had watched his mother die, he didn’t want to stick around for the encore.

A year later, Joat finally defeated the Naughty Sorceress and freed the good King Ralph XI. However, a portal appeared (through which he hesitantly traveled), which led him into another universe. In this universe, he learned of a new force, known as a forum board. And hrough the days that came later, he became known as the administrator of the Fire Wolves.

Concept Information

Intended Role: Joat is... Joat. The character represents the user, simply put.

Significant Meanings: None, obviously.

Incorporated Concepts: None that I can think of.

Inspirations: None from the outside (except his name, which was inspired by the term 'Jack of all Trades'), but Joat was originally a black-robed man who wields a scythe and knows many types of magic. Later, he was transformed into a KoL character, which eventually worked its way into what you see today.

Trivia/Miscellaneous Information: His name, as you have already gathered, stands for Jack of all Trades.
