The food is provided by BNS government and is currently in two different warehouses in Damazine. The shelter kits are provided by UNJLC and are currently in the UNHCR warehouse in Damazine. The government of BNS would provide manpower to load and unload the trucks. It has been requested that UNMIS to provides five trucks.

The village Eltarfa has been affected by the rains. No humanitarian assistance requested.
Tadamon locality
In the village Bout more than 1000 houses have been destroyed after flooding from a reservoir. No assessment has been conducted. UNMIS helicopter can not land there since the area has not been surveyed for a while. The next survey is scheduled for 15 July.
Needs and pledges
NFI:
• UNJLC has kits for 100 families available in Damazine. It is likely that more will be needed soon. RCO to request from UNJLC to bring additional NFI from Khartoum. • GOAL has mosquito nets available. However, transport from Kurmuk to affected areas is difficult.
Food:
• No official request from the government yet. Geissan will be covered from Governmental resources. Request for WFP support is likely if situation deteriorates.
Health:
• WHO provided the Ministry of Health with emergency health kits. Will likely be included to convoy to Geissan.
Logistics:
• Transport by air or land is crucial. The government does not have enough resources. Support from particularly UNMIS requested.
