これは6月に某体育会クラブの2学生がバイク事故を起こし、うち1名が重傷のため今後の活動の継続が危ぶまれる状況に陥ったことを考慮し、幸い該当学生は一命をとりとめ活動再開も間近であるが、交通ルールの遵守、その他昨今よく耳にする大学生のクラブ内の暴力・窃盗・痴漢行為・薬物使用等についての注意喚起が必要との判断により、同志社大学体育会監督会、同志社スポーツユニオン（体育会OB・OG組織）の後援のもと実施されたものです最初に体育会本部山本翔吾総務部長から開催趣旨の説明として、「バイク事故で重傷になった同乗学生がヘルメットをかぶらず交通ルールが守られていなかったことを重く考え、世間でよく聞く暴力・窃盗・薬物使用等についても、この機会にコンプライアンスについてよく考えていただき、体育会学生としての意識を高めていただきたい」と話がありましたその後宇野原（貴夫）監督会幹事長（スキー部監督）から話がありました。「6月10日に発生したバイク事故の該当学生は7時間の手術、2日間意識不明の状態から奇跡的に回復に至った。相手のある交通事故は自分だけでは済まない、相手にも苦しみを与えてしまう。
いや、必ずそうなります。そうならなくては、世の中が納得しません。そもそも実質的には、月に数日しか働いていなかったたかじんさんですから、そんなにゆっくり休んでいい道理が無いんです。
