Astral Projection is the mental ability to project the user's conciousous into the past, present or future as a semi-intangible entity. This can be activated by concentrating on a certain point of space/time, althugh not always. Also, astral projection can come with some quirks:

"I can project fairly easily now. I just can't walk through doors. I can walk through physical objects AND walls, just not doors or walls with doors. They sort of act like barriers, they send me flying."

This ability leaves the body unprotected whilst the mind is in the astral state and therefore vulnerable to attack. Also, the stronger the projection, the more the effects can be felt. Although some people (most people with abilities, see General Abilities) can feel their presence, a strong projection can create a cold breeze, and may be able to knock some objects over. In fact, a percentage of ghost stories are actually people feeling the presence of an astral projection.
