Welcome to PR Wiki
This Wiki is maintained by Prime Point Foundation, Image management yahoo group and Prpoint Yahoo group
This Wiki is used for capturing the views of Professional community on various PR and Communication issues.
Right now most of the courses offered lack the basic premise of practical exposure to PR as a tool for image building. The one year course should follow what we call a medical model, wherein every half of the day is spent at various agencies by the students interning with them. Students can choose among the practices(viz IT, finance, healthcare etc.
The other half of the day could be used to learn theory in the classroom. Practical exposure is a must for any communication course.

Mar 07 Project - Framing of PR Syllabus - Brain storming
March 2007 issue of Corporate ezine PR-e-Sense will carry a theme on "PR education in India". We would like the PR education to be compared globally.
When we discussed the issue with Vice Chancellor of Anna University, Coimbatore, he has readily agreed to start a PG Diploma Course on PUblic Relations (one year programme). He has advised us to suggest to him a curriculum of 8 papers suitable for India in a practical manner.
This is a Collaborative project of all the students, professionals, academicians and Corporate persons.
