Background

When warmed up, this can be applied with a paint brush to the edges of a coverslip to allow the slide to last longer without drying down and killing all of the organisms too quickly! It is also a great hand moisturizer in the dry months!!!


Valap Recipe

  1. Place 10g Vaseline + 10g Lanolin + 10g Paraffin in a beaker.
  2. Heat on heater/hotplate until a liquid.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Cool, cover and store in cabinet/drawer when not in use.
  5. Re-apply heat on heater/hotplate when needed again.
