Final Concentration of 100 mg/mL Chloramphenicol:

  1. Add 20 mL of nuclease-free H2O (found in the -20 freezer) to a 50 mL centrifuge tube
  2. Add 30 mg of Chloramphenicol to nuclease-free H2O
  3. Vortex solution until mixed
  4. Aliquot solution: 1 mL of the final concentration of 100mg/mL Chloramphenicol into 1.5 mL micro centrifuge tubes
  5. Label tubes with a C on the side and top of the tube
