Final Concentration of 100 mg/mL Chloramphenicol:
- Add 20 mL of nuclease-free H2O (found in the -20 freezer) to a 50 mL centrifuge tube
- Add 30 mg of Chloramphenicol to nuclease-free H2O
- Vortex solution until mixed
- Aliquot solution: 1 mL of the final concentration of 100mg/mL Chloramphenicol into 1.5 mL micro centrifuge tubes
- Label tubes with a C on the side and top of the tube
- Place aliquoted solution tubes Tina's box on the bottom shelf of the -20 freezer.
