- Ash, May, Max and Brock arrive in Pallet Town.
- Giovanni converts Team Rocket into a good team.
- Jessie, James and Meowth quit Team Rocket.
- Ash is introduced to Prof. Palm, and decides to head to Lento.
- Ash leaves all of his Pokemon with Oak, except for Pikachu.
- Ash heads to Lento.
- May, Max and Brock head to Pewter City.
