Sarah initially was looking to enroll in [[Prof. Palm]]'s Pokemon classes to become a trainer, but was instead given a '''Burnbal''' after finding out that there was only [[Joseph|one graduate]]. She is voiced by '''Kagome Higurashi''' in the Radioplay.

Sarah teamed up with [[Ash Ketchum]] to put a stop to [[Team Evil]], who had stolen Prof. Palm's starting Pokemon.

Sarah's goal is to become a Top Class Pokemon Trainer, which can be achieved by winning the Bluerock City Club battle tournament.

Sarah trains her Pokemon heavily, though her Pokemon don't seem to mind.
