Banjo City is a fictional town in southeastern Indiana, the location of Red State Banjo. It is 20 miles from all other cities and has no suburbs. The founders of Banjo city moved from Indianapolis in 1950, and were at the time obsessed with banjos, most likely because they were insane. That is why they founded the city, and decided to name it Banjo City. The population of Banjo City is around 600. The mayor of Banjo City is Leroy Jennings.
