PF forum started on a ProBoards server for some unknown time. Then another ProBoards forum was made for October 4th, 2005 to February 24th 2006. This forum can be found [http://peanutforum.proboards27.com/index.cgi here]. Members that still visit PF.net still do the occasional rare post on there, mostly for the sole purpose of annoying [[Asher Wycoff|Asher]].

The InvisionFree forum, that we have today, was created on 19 February 2006. It became the official forum on the 25 February that year, after six days of putting the forum together.

The first members were, of course, PeanutFoot, and Angelblade, now the two Administrators on the forum. The forum was a free zone, granting access to topics to guests, until it was made a members only area, late on in 2006. There have been two successful collabs from the members. They have been [[Pins and Needles]], and [[Mascot Soup]].

== Staff ==
The staff of the forum used to only consist of Peanut Foot as the only Administrator. However, around July of 2006 Peanut Foot went on vacation, and needed another Administrator to run the forum while he was gone. As a result, Angelblade was made an Admin. Over the course of time, El Diablo, punkromance, and JK managed to become Moderators themselves, though punkromance was demoted to a regular member for some reasons, which we'll not being into detail at the moment.

PeanutFoot, founder and admin of the forum, is a much-loved character throughout the forum. Having been joint winner of member of the year, he clearly has a lot of support. His animations are well loved, and he has a tendoncy to talk in Japanese. He reached 10,000 posts in May 2007, and is friendly to everyone.

Angeblade. admin number 2, is also well beloved. He has recently gained the title of "Pervert of the Forum", due to some of his lavish statements. He does not like cheese, and was formely called: "The Angel". Angelblade disaperead for a month in Spring 2007, but returned in May 2007.

Punkromance is a fiery character who has had many names; Nev, James, Yell, Inti, Metallix, Zirk, Gofthick, Punkromance. Known for not worrying about his safety, saying his adress, giving numerous pictures away. He made the infamous XXX thread, and helped Angelblade make the Puberty board.

JK and El Diablo, are the two moderators of the site. JK has the fastest posting rate out of any forumers, over 5000 posts since November 2006 27th. He was formely known as "blobbsadventures", and was almost de-moded in June 2007. He is the second British member, along with Punkromance. El Diablo doesn't come to the forum as much as most Admin and MODs. He was one of the first members, and makes very good flash cartoons.

== Criticism ==
A very common habit that members of the forum pick up on is off topic discussion. After about two or three pages, the discussion will have died out, and the topic will eventually be locked (or lockdom, as [[Gabriel Wang|Angelblade]] enjoys calling it). This is very irritating at times and even though members try to avoid this, it happens quite frequently.

== PF Forum Awards ==
Near the beginning of 2007, Angelblade hosted the 2006 Forum Awards, in which ACTIVE members would vote for other members in a variety of categories. The '06 Forum Awards originally started as a thread that was created by punkromance, where members were encouraged to vote in the thread itself. Since this would take a horribly long time to go through and tally up the votes, Angelblade decided to have the Awards through PM (Private Message). Unfortunately, only around four of the members actually voted, as others were either inactive or inactive through most of 2006. *Most intelligent member: Slartibartfast

Slartibartfast is a member that doesn't post on the forum that much. However, when he comments his posts are rather lengthy and detailed.

Slartibartfast is a reference to a character from the series, "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy."

*Best signature maker: El Diablo

El Diablo makes signatures (aka "siggies") for other members, and they usually turn out to be great.

*Best topic maker: Angelblade

*Newbie of the year: Zelda

This "category" was created in punkromance's original thread. Punkromance is renowned for requesting an "Intercourse" (of course, that word was not used) board while Peanut Foot was on vacation. By doing so, he earned himself the unspoken title of "Pervert" for quite awhile. However, Angelblade has taken this title from punkromance, as Angelblade's posts sometimes include crude innuendo or other mature content. This creates awkward situations and Peanut Foot almost always censors the post.

The love for cheese on the [[PeanutFoot.net#The Forum | PF forum]] has been evident since the start of the very first cheese thread and discussion throughout the forum.
Various members of the forum have shown their appreciation for cheese. [[Asher Wycoff|Asher]] himself claims to hold a love for cheese. [[Gabriel_Wang|Angelblade]], however, to the disgust, pouring shock and outrage to other members, has shown a negative attitude towards the liking of cheese.
