[edit] Introduction

Fighting, though it serves little purpose, is another big part of PRPG. Fighting gives you Experience Points (or XP). Once you get a certain amount of XP, you will gain a level. A higher level allows you to purchase better weapons and armor.

[edit] Armor & Weapons

Armor will reduce the amount of damage you take in battle. Weapons will increase the amount of damage you deal out in battle. To buy armor or weapons, go to Icyland, and click on the building called "Weapons", and then click "James’ Guns" You will be able to buy weapons and armor here. The higher your level, the better the weapons/armor you will be able to purchase. There is a bug that exists that allows your clan to give you a weapon that you are not a high enough level to use. Now, to equip your weapons and armor, go back to the previous screen, and click on "Armory". You will be able to equip your weapons(and armor) from this screen. If you want to make your weapons and armor stronger, go back to the previous screen, and click "Blacksmith". For the cost of 75 coins and an ice cube, he will add +3 damage or protection to your weapon. For example: I have a weapon that is +10. I pay the Blacksmith to upgrade it. I now have a weapon that is +13. You must go to the Armory and unequip your weapons before you can upgrade them. Lastly, if you want to sell your weapons or armor, click on "Pawn Shop" and you will be able to sell back your weapons.

[edit] Level

Level really has no purpose aside from bragging rights, and being able to buy better equipment. To gain levels, you must fight either the Explore Monsters, or other players to gain XP. XP gains are totally random, but they are generally higher from the Explore Monsters than they are from players. Once you get a certain amount of XP, you will gain a level.

[edit] Getting Tired

Getting tired is a random occurrence while fighting. Though, it seems to occur more frequently if you have been fighting a lot. Basically, this means that you were going to get a chance to attack, but did not. Depending on how much higher your agility is compared to your opponent, you may or may not be able to attack next round. This system makes it so weaker players have a chance at some of the stronger players.

[edit] Check First!

When using the search feature to battle, don't just click attack on someone! What if they're stronger than you? First click on their name. This will show you their public profile. Their public profile shows you information like their agility rank and their power rank. If their agility rank is higher than yours, it would not be a good idea to attack that person. You could still win, but it's not likely. To see what your agility rank is, look on the left side of your screen, and click "Home". Now click "Player Ranking". This will show you your ranks.
