This page is primarily for the channel rulesets, but is also forIRC announcements, event planning and other things of note. There will be a direct link here from the PCA channels for ease of perusal.
The IRC Channel Code of Conduct
- One: HAVE FUN
This is the core of it all. We're here to have fun and enjoy ourselves. Please take that into consideration.
- Two: Respect the sanctity of IC channels
- PCAIC and #PokeCombatAcademy are primarily for IC use. If there's a session going on, refrain from interjecting unless it's to sort out matters OOCly that have come up. You can, of course, also use #PCAOOC, but this isn't a rule. Basically, if it's not about the present game, don't type it in an IC channel.
- Three: PG-13 in Public IC, please!
Nothing wrong with a little sexy, but once things get too hot and heavy (or scary or exceedingly squicky), please move matters to a private channel. This is a rule I am very strict on, and failure to pay attention to it can net you an lengthy ban.
- Four: Minimal drama, please.
Yes, I know. Furries (and people around them) can be quickly sucked into a spiral of whining and sniveling, but one should have the sense to cut matters short and either settle it in private or move the discussion elsewhere. If something needs to be settled in the open, that can be done, but please try to rein in your emotions.
- Five: Obey the @.
Whatever a mod says is final. End of discussion. Those chosen will be reasonable and will listen to your side of things, but if they've made a final judgment, abide by it and try to learn something from it.
OOC Notes and Alerts
- CURRENT
- The hunt for IRC admins is officially on. I will need about 2-4, and you will need to not only be active in the channel, but also be attentive, fair, and willing to deal with issues as best you can before having to escalate them to the primary mod (which is Darkheart). Also, your character will need some vouching-for from fellow IRC-goers. If you're interested, either message me when I'm in IRC or send me (http://www.furaffinity.net/user/dh01/) a note.
IC Notes and Events
- IN PLANNING
- An actual IC event, zomg! Something summer-based, likely around a summer camp or retreat of some sort. Expect it to be somewhere between amusing and good for character development, but nothing too angsty or dangerous. Details are NOT solidified yet, but it is definitely a one-character-only affair, so you would do well to choose who you'd bring along wisely.
