In schools, it's all the more important, as being in a team gives that person more of an identity, especially when they're a part of a successful group.

While it's assumed that primaries would have fight priority, team layout for certain fights tends to be more fluid, especially for primaries who might end up being all but useless against a particular type prominent in the opponent's team.
