Battle Types

  • Standard - The classic one-on-one. Victory ends the ongoing match and starts the next. Leader battles are usually tiebreakers, although in some cases, the winning mons can have a final match to decide the winner in ties.
  • Endurance - Instead of the 'round' ending for both mons when one is defeated, the still-standing mon has to immediately face the other team's next opponent.
  • Multiple - Either two-on-two, three-on-three or four-on-four. Massive ongoing battles. In some variants, downed mons can be replaced by their teammates.
  • Classic - Instead of an untimed match, timed rounds, with small between-round breaks. Rounds are usually limited, and at the end of the alloted rounds, the battle is judged by the on-hand graders and the ref.
