Cinyras

From Paradox Haze

  • Personality and Manifestation: Cinyras appears as a beautiful youth holding. He was a famous bard of old, a son of Apollo himself. He was entirely dedicated to music, and his skill went beyond that of mere common bards; he was a true Seeker of the Song.


Personality wise, Cinyras is passionate, affectionate, empathetic, a bit spontaneous, and a pacifist. He's very poetic, and has a bit of a flair for dramatics. He's a lover, not a fighter.


Granted Abilities:

  • Skilled: You gain +20 perform (singing) ranks. Binding with this vestige also makes perform an available cross-class skill permanently.
  • Rapture of the Song: You become so in tune with the power of music, that you gain physical prowess. While performing, you gain +2 to AC, +2 to all saves, Damage Reduction 2/-, and Freedom of Movement.
  • Songs: You can burst out into song whenever you like; your list of songs is below.
  • Refrain: Refrains are strong one-turn effects that you can activate up to three times each hour. The refrain used must match the song being sung, and it must have been sung for at least 3 turns previous.

  • Valiant Anthem: +4 to Hit and Damage rolls, and +2 to Will Saves
  • Dirge of Frozen Loss: +15 Cold Resistance,
  • Rhapsody of Flame: +15 Fire Resistance
  • Ballad of Storms: +15 Electrical Resistance
  • Requiem to Life: Immunity to Poison and Disease, Heal 5 HP each round
  • Hymn of Agony: +15 Acid Resistance
  • Serenade to All: +4 AC
  • Wistful Aria: +10 to Move


Refrain Effects

  • Valiant Anthem: +4 additional to hit and damage rolls for one round
  • Dirge of Frozen Loss: Roll a perform check; all adjacent enemies take Frost Damage equal to the result plus your binder level.
  • Rhapsody of Flame: Roll a perform check; all adjacent enemies take Fire Damage equal to the result plus your binder level.
  • Ballad of Storms: Roll a perform check; all adjacent enemies take Electric Damage equal to the result plus your binder level.
  • Requiem to Life: Roll a perform check; all allies are healed by the result plus your binder level, up to their full HP
  • Hymn of Agony: Roll a perform check; all adjacent enemies take Negative Energy Damage equal to the result plus your binder level.
  • Serenade to All: Damage Reduction 10/- for one round to all allies.
  • Wistful Aria: All allies gain an additional +10 move, and can make two attacks at their highest BAB, for one round.
