Alignment: Any Chaotic

Hit Die: d4.

Class Skills

The wild mage’s class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Decipher Script (Int), Knowledge (all skills, taken individually) (Int), Profession (Wis), and Spellcraft (Int). See Chapter 4: Skills for skill descriptions.

Skill Points at 1st Level: (2 + Int modifier) x4.

Skill Points at Each Additional Level: 2 + Int modifier.

Spells: To learn, prepare, or cast a spell, the wizard must have an Intelligence score equal to at least 10 + the spell level. The Difficulty Class for a saving throw against a wizard’s spell is 10 + the spell level + the wizard’s Intelligence modifier.

Like other spellcasters, a wizard can cast only a certain number of spells of each spell level per day. Her base daily spell allotment is given on Table: The Wizard. In addition, she receives bonus spells per day if she has a high Intelligence score.

Wizards cast spells from the standard Wizard Spell-List; but note that Arinth based characters have certain restrictions

Wild Surge: You have a 10% chance of suffering from a wild surge when you cast a spell. Roll a 1d10 before every spell to determine if you surge; if you roll a 10, you surge.



Wild Magic: A wild mage casts spells differently from other spellcasters. She reduces her caster level by 3 for all spells she casts from now on. However, every time she casts a spell, her use of wild magic adds 1d6 to her adjusted caster level.


Great Wild Magic: A wild mage casts spells differently from other spellcasters. She reduces her caster level by 5 for all spells she casts from now on. However, every time she casts a spell, her use of wild magic adds 1d10 to her adjusted caster level.
