Name: Curtis Jonah Shriner

Description: Throughout his life, Curtis always seemed to have everything just...handed to him. From the moment he was born he was discovered to have a seer's talent, and though he had to work by using his power and worshipping, nothing really difficult ever came his way. Magic came easily, talent even moreso, and when he wasn't busy, life was, well, pretty nice. This lead to his developing a rather optimistic outlook on life.

Even if bad things happen, it's difficult to faze him, and he has an ability to find a silver lining in the darkest of clouds. This ability, coupled with his cheerful demeanor and predisposition to spend more time talking than not, has left him, in the views of others, as a sort of annoyance. Nobody can deny his talent, of course, but nobody really wanted to be in his company either. He's very naïve, and hasn't seen much outside his own country, which leads him to the belief that all people are definitely good people, even if they're forced to do bad things. It's with this maddening view that he tags along behind people, always trying to make friends.

In an attempt to get rid of him, at least for a while, he was sent off with the diplomat to Sejoll as a "spiritual guide". Translated, this meant that they were sending him off to get him out of their hair, and he was to annoy the diplomat and the humans rather than important Ceythean priests. He does enjoy the chance for travel, however...and will speak of it whatever chance he gets.
