Brief History: Cole was a simple high school student from St. Louis when the invasion first started. In the ensuing chaos, he was separated from his family; he has no idea of their fate. Merely through tagging along with other survivors, he ended up at the Refuge near what once was Chicago.
As he first arrived there, he became remarkable in being one of the few people to resist a demonic possession - the demon entered his body, but could not extinguish his soul.
