Information about the Academy
Kiyoshi has watched over the years as the various academies where founded based upon different rites. While he has tried to work within the confines of those rites, he felt there was some that seemed more connected to his rite then any of the other American or European based ones. While he has often trained students at his monastery, he soon came to realize that a academy based upon his rite was needed for those that felt out of place in other academies based on different rites.
While the current size of the academy is small, growth is expected as members of the rite move to the united states and find no other academy based upon this rite.
Membership: Open to any members of the Oriental Rite, or those that wish to join this rite. Members are not required to live in the local of the island, but must attend meeting at least once a month.
Research: All research into transcendence and the coils follow the approach of this rite. As such this academy is seen as somewhat different in view and often looked down upon those of other academies based on different rites. The founder of the academy, simply smiles and offers that transcendence is not shaped like one egg, but comes in many different shapes, sizes, and colors.
