Themes
The Black Parade is essentially an album about death and the regrets of its protagonist, the patient. It explores the people he's afraid he's hurt and is leaving behind; his fears about what he should have done with his life; and his doubts as he shuffles off this mortal coil, possibly going to hell. So it's pretty much a concept album. And you gotta love that accordion on "Mama."
