Two different intercrosses totaling 1045 (LG/J x SM/J)F2 intercross animals were used for linkage analysis to identify QTLs for mandible length. A total of 96 microsatellite markers at an average spacing of 23 cM were used in the genome scan. The QTLs identified for mandible length were evaluated for relationship to other mandible traits. 13 QTLs reaching the chromosome- and genome-wide significance threshold of 0.05 were identified.

Manln2 mapped to 52 cM on mouse Chromosome 2 near D2Mit370 (LOD=4.64). The QTL interval of Manln2 spans 42 cM - 60 cM. This locus is linked to many different mandible traits affecting the muscle attachment area.

Manln3 mapped to 34 cM on mouse Chromosome 3 in linkage to D3Mit22 (LOD=2.75). The QTL interval of Manln3 spans 14 cM - 56 cM. LG/J-derived alleles confer increased mandible length at Manln3 with a dominant mode of inheritance. This locus explains 1.3% of the variance. Manln3 also shows linkage to several different mandible traits affectingthe alveolar processes (LOD=7.75 at D3Mit22).

6. Frees the agent client up to focus on business building activities.

Manln4 mapped to 16 cM on mouse Chromosome 4 near D4Mit163 (LOD=3.46). The QTL interval of Manln4 spans 8 cM - 20 cM. This locus is linked to several different mandible traits affecting muscle attachment region. Manln5 mapped to 36 cM near D4Mit17 (LOD=4.94). The QTL interval of Manln5 spans 24 cM - 52 cM. LG/J-derived alleles at Manln5 confer increased mandible length with a dominant mode of inheritance. This locus explains 2.3% of the variance.

In many offices across the country, there are transaction coordinators on staff who are shared among the office. While this approach seems practical or beneficial on the surface because the coordinator is in house and can be accessed by stopping by her/his desk. It's not always the best or most effective approach when explored further. There are many reasons for that, a few are outlined here:
-
Manln6 mapped to 92 cM on mouse Chromosome 6 near D6Mit58 (LOD=3.13). The QTL interval of Manln6 spans 92 cM - 96 cM. LG/J-derived alleles at Manln6 confer increased mandible length with a recessive mode of inheritance. This locus explains 1.5% of the variance.
+
a. The transaction coordinator is paid by the office and has a job, which is not always exclusively coordinating transactions. Meaning, they could get pulled away from their job to help the other departments such as receptionist, listing coordinating or what have you. This means they aren't working on your transactions.
-
Manln7 mapped to 18 cM on mouse Chromosome 7 near D7Mit21 (LOD=3.43). The QTL interval of Manln7 spans 0 cM - 32 cM. Manln7 shows linkage to superior condyloid length. Manln8 mapped to 50 cM near D7Nds1 (LOD=4.14). The QTL interval of Manln8 spans 40 cM - 56 cM. LG/J-derived alleles at Manln8 confer increased mandible length with a dominant mode of inheritance. This locus explains 1.9% of the variance.
+
b. Interruptions! The facts are clear, it can take more than 20 minutes to get back on task after an interruption. That said, imagine how inefficient it can be if agents are walking in and out of the transactioncoordinators office all day long.

Manln9 mapped to 88 cM on mouse Chromosome 10 near D10Mit133 (LOD=4.24). The QTL interval of Manln9 spans 62 cM - 88 cM. LG/J-derived alleles at Manln9 confer increased mandible length with a dominant mode of inheritance. This locus explains 2% of the variance.

The QTL interval of Manln11 spans 30 cM - 72 cM. LG/J-derived alleles atManln11 confer increased mandible length with a dominant mode of inheritance. This locus explains 5.5% of the variance. Manln12 mapped to 98 cM near D11Mit333 (LOD=3.53). This locus is linked to several different mandible traits affecting the muscle attachment region and alveolar processes.

What Is a Transaction Coordinator?

A Transaction Coordinator is a person who takes responsibility for managing the deadlines and tasks of a real estate contract to closing. Some of the duties include:

1. Responsible for processing of all contracts through closing.

2. Coordinating appointments for inspections, appraisals, and closing.

3. Effectively communicates with clients, customers, other agents, lenders, title agents and other service providers throughout the process.

4. Responsible for proper documentation of the file to comply with brokerage policies.

5. Assures that all post-closing disbursements, filing, and procedures take place.

6. Frees the agent client up to focus on business building activities.

In many offices across the country, there are transaction coordinators on staff who are shared among the office. While this approach seems practical or beneficial on the surface because the coordinator is in house and can be accessed by stopping by her/his desk. It's not always the best or most effective approach when explored further. There are many reasons for that, a few are outlined here:

a. The transaction coordinator is paid by the office and has a job, which is not always exclusively coordinating transactions. Meaning, they could get pulled away from their job to help the other departments such as receptionist, listing coordinating or what have you. This means they aren't working on your transactions.

b. Interruptions! The facts are clear, it can take more than 20 minutes to get back on task after an interruption. That said, imagine how inefficient it can be if agents are walking in and out of the transactioncoordinators office all day long.
