=Grand Duchy of Montelimar=

-

-
The Grand Duchy of Montelimar was established in 1085 after a five year civil war that ended the Montelimarean Confederacy, with the crowning of [[Grand Duke Henri I  | Henri de Brissac]], the Duke of Brissac, as the nation's first [[Grand Dukes of Montelimar | Grand Duke]] . For nearly a thousand years, the Brissac Family has ruled Montelimar. Some are held in high esteme, while a few are less than memorable, but for the most part, they have ruled justly and wisely.
