Describe your character’s strengths (both magically and personality-wise. Please note that Animagi and Metamorphmagi, etc. are extremely rare and you MUST have Mod Permission.):

She’s pretty good in potions and Arithmancy, but her best class by far is definitely Charms. She’s a mediocre student, for a Ravenclaw, and for the most part manages to scrape by without completely disgracing the House name. The real reason she was sorted into her house was for her street-smarts, which she has the inexpicable propensity of applying to her studies and other aspects of her life. The good thing about her personality is that she’s very open to becoming friends with new people.

Describe your character’s flaws/weaknesses:

She’s a bit of a gossip, and she can have a mean streak at times. And those street-smarts? They can make her manipulative sometimes. In addition to that, she can get very selfish, because she’s been brought up as the baby of the household, and as the one who’s always gotten her way. She’s HORRIBLE at Divination.

Is your character Muggle born, a half breed, or a pureblood? Explain it.

Muggle. In fact, she’s Lucas’ fathers’ wife’s daughter [yeeah. Uhm. Chat craziness e_e], and both her father and mother are muggle. She’s not blood related to Lucas, as his dad married her mom after she was born, but she is his stepsister. Her stepfather [Lucas’ dad] wasn’t quite as harsh on her as he was on Lucas, since he considered her just extra baggage to go with her mum, so for the most part he ignores her. She’s more than happy to comply, since she feels like he could never live up to the standards of her father, who died when she was six (he was a cop). Her mother is a kindergarten teacher, and she’s a sweet, albeit a little not-all-there woman.

Character Background/History:

Growing up, she was always home-schooled by her mother, who would sometimes take her to her work on the sly. When she wasn’t being homeschooled, she would have a nanny at home with her, who was also assigned the goal of teaching her.

At the age of six, her father, who was a cop, died in an accidental shooting (one of his coworkers shot him instead of the guy threatening them). Two years later, her mom and Lucas’ dad got married, and the first time she met Lucas was at their wedding. She hated him immediately, as he was a vestige of her new father’s ‘old life’ and she was afraid that he would take her new dad’s attention away from her. She soon learned that this was anything but the case, and her dad ignored her and gave Lucas the wrong kind of attention, and she soon got over her petty dislike for him.

However, they were siblings, and after spending so much of their lives together, by the time Veronica and Lucas got into Hogwarts (to her surprise, as she’d not expected to be let in, having two muggle parents), they were past the yay-we’re-siblings stage and already far into the oh-god-not-you-again stage.
