Family

Abbie is the youngest daughter of Aliona and Aidan Johansson. She has two sisters, Anna, 39, and Adriana, 34, and a large extended family. She is distantly related to Abigail and Stephanie McCoy on her father's side of the family.

Education

Abbie attended Hogwarts from 1984-1991 and was a member of Hufflepuff House. While in school, she excelled in written subjects, particularly Arithmancy, Ancient Runes, History of Magic, and Muggle Studies. Though she was (and continues to be) a very hard worker, the best she could expect in hands-on subjects such as Herbology and Potions was an Acceptable, and she gave those subjects up immediately after taking the OWLs. After completing her education, Abbie worked for Gringotts as an arithmancer, and spent much of her time traveling. She was called to Hogwarts to teach Arithmancy following the sudden leave of Professor Declan Dillingham.
