History
Following invasions and occupations by the British and French during the 18th and 19th centuries the former colony of Etoile Arcture finally gained its independence in 1949 following a five year war against French colonialists. Etoile Arcture now belongs to the group of Nova nations, having one of the most powerful economies in the region based on the formula of a capitalist system interlarded with substantial welfare elements. Over the last half century Etoile Arcture�¢ï¿½ï¿½s economy has been marked by steady growth, low unemployment and inflation, and rapid advances in technology. The nation is named after it's highest mountain peak, St. Etoile Arcture (the "Saint of The Rising Star of Arcturus").
