It should not be merged, as it is a different currency in both value, and in denomination forms. It is co-incidence we ahve similar names for our currency. That is why I removed the merge indicator. --Tomahawk 13:41, 21 November 2007 (EST)

This is why you should create a separate section rather than a whole article.

It would make more sense to put the articles together as they do sahre the same name. You can explain the differences even if they are on the same page pretty much like the following on wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dollar I would suggest putting something like. 'Although the Alfegosian currency shares the same name as the Damirian currency, the Alfegosian Aureus is...'. --Pinguinum 14:13, 21 November 2007 (EST)
