History

1500-1599

• 1500

English and Italian settlers arrived on island somewhere in the atlantic.

• 1502

After discovering a colony of penguins, the settlers named the island 'Pinguinum'.

Blake Furr, was proclaimed King.

Catholic Order was created from the catholic priests.

• 1503

King Blake declared that the penguins should be the symbol of the island and the nation was born.

The Catholic Order renamed itself Pinguinian Catholic order to indicate its affinity to the island and thus the nation.

• 1510

Some of the settlers who had previously been sailors joined together to form the Pinguinian Militia.

• 1540

The leaders of this militia created a Military Council to discuss mattters of importance.

• 1550

Settlers, who feared that life wasn't going to simple, decided to leave the island in a small boat.

1600-1699

The Military Council became the Royal Military Council when it was officially recognised by the King who granted the prefix 'Royal'.
