Redirecting is accomplished by typing#REDIRECT [[TARGETPAGE]]
It occurs automatically when moving a page.
For an example of a redirect visit Help:Redirecting 1.
If you visit a page that is being redirected to another you will see "(Redirected from ...)" right below the page title. If you want to force a visit to a page that is redirected, click on the link in the aforementioned redirected from portion.
If you visit a page that is redirected to a page that is in turn redirected you will see the second redirect just as if you forced a visit. This is called a double redirect.
