Macha, or the Dog as he was known, was fearless! Whether it be pulling down senior's underwear in the first year or standing up to tam-blood thirsty mobs during the rajkumar kidnapping, or asking law firm Partners to "Speak Porperly!!", he handled everything with a smile! There was only one thing that could drive macha up the wall (we are referring to the period before 3rd yr...since then, cute little girls have been known to do that as well!)...any comment on his 'fashonable' clothes! !

Avinash a.k.a Macha, as he was popularly known was perceived as the goody two shoes, hard working, intelligent, curd rice eating tamil boy when he joined law school. He was never ever seen outside his room after class hours giving rise to the belief that he was always studying. Only later did we come to know that he was suffering from sleeping sickness and that studies were never in his list of priorities.

Macha, thankfully, held only two posts of responsibility in class -

(i) he was the first class rep appointed by class (we shall not elaborate upon this point as the tenure is pretty forgettable) and (ii)more importantly, he was the chauffer of the class! his Uno and sometimes the Ikon ferried many a bored law schoolite to the pleasures of brigade road!

Macha, or the Dog as he was known, was fearless! Whether it be pulling down senior's underwear in the first year or standing up to tam-blood thirsty mobs during the rajkumar kidnapping, or asking law firm Partners to "Speak Properly!!", he handled everything with a smile! There was only one thing that could drive macha up the wall (we are referring to the period before 3rd yr...since then, cute little girls have been known to do that as well!)...any comment on his 'fashonable' clothes! !

Famous for arguing with auto drivers in delhi - "no no...no chalees! only chaarlees!!" and paying them amounts equivalent to the GDP of Senegal, he was an extremely reliable and genuine friend.

Currently selling soaps and mosquito repellants with Lala company in Bombay, give him a call when going to Bombay so that he can pick you up from the airport.
